1.0What I build

  • 6-DOF maglev haptic controller: STM32H7 with AD7606/LTC2688 over SPI+DMA; ~10× cheaper, ~2× the compute
  • Ballbot driven by feel: a PyQt GUI over the Shmoobot’s ROS 1 nodes, then teleoperation from the haptic device with force feedback
  • Real-time waste classifier: YOLOv8n on a Raspberry Pi 5; Best Hardware, TartanHacks 2026, 1,000+ participants
  • Robotic instrument network: ESP32 Feather firmware, MIDI over a wireless link, gesture-driven conductor mode
  • Full-stack platforms: a Next.js/PostgreSQL tutoring portal live at hainabian.org, and a Django/Celery/Channels scheduler I ran solo for two years at ~150 bookings a month
